- From finder: Good news the little dogs owner called and collected her this afternoon. Her name was Lucky, she was very excited to see her owner.
The owner said that he got my details (address) from the wellingborough dog warden. Before I handed her over I double checked with the warden by telephoning the number on the councils letter that the warden left me.
The warden confirmed that he was 100 % happy with the proof the owner showed him and said I was to hand her over to him. Which I did.
Thank you for all of your help in reuniting this little dog with her owner. It's reassuring to know there's help out there should you ever need it. I'm so glad it was a happy ending.
I know I would be devastated to lose one of mine.
