Thank you redruby for the lovely update. Really happy your fur-baby is safely back home, where he belongs. Hope his ear heals quickly. Welcome home Lenny. X

Hi Sharon, yes I picked him up today from MDH, then we went to vets to see about his ear injury, vet cleaned it out, poor old Lenny was howling with pain, we came home with a lampshade for him in case he starts scratching - I will get a photo of him in it - he's exhausted and snoring away right now. The volume of the barking in the kennels was deafening, he looks very happy to be back in his own bed, I am overjoyed to have my boy back home. Again, many thanks, this is a great website for info and support. xx

Yes, they take them to the one at Moston.

Thank you BobbisGirl, I feel better thinking he's probably got a kennel for the night. Will the warden have taken him to the dogs home in Moston? Is there anywhere else they might have taken him?
BobbisGirl

Thank you Sharon and BobbisGirl, I'm trying to find my way around this web site, don't know how to message you direct. Where did Dog Wardens post that info? It's quite near to me, he might have taken himself to the park and then got lost. I hope so.

A staffie was picked up today from Sainsburies on Birchfields Rd by Manchester Dog Wardens. No idea about sex/colour but it was friendly and had a cut to its ear which it possibly got from being hit by a car?? Other than that I think it was ok. Good luck xx

Some one just posted this message for owners to check:-
Have you tried Manchester dog wardens? A staffie was picked up from Sainsburies on Birchfields Rd this morning. No idea what sex/colour it was but it was friendly and had a cut to its ear. Good luck xx
