Janette Humphries I was at the hospital this morning and the appointment took forever but I too followed up with Summerdale vets on my way home and it seems the owner must have been knocking on doors and found the lady who brought her into the vet and they were indeed reunited very quickly which is fabulous news. - I've posted on all Newfoundland pages I know and have asked around in the area. Lots of Newfie people are sharing so hopefully we can find her owner soon. I am not far away and can take her until the owner is found, unfortunately the vets is closed now for the weekend.

- A very friendly Black Newfoundland bitch with white chest blaze has been found running loose with no collar by the side of the fields and Dunton road. The lady who found her brought her into Summerdale Vet in Billericay. Although the dog is well groomed and lovely temperament, there are no details on Petlog associated with her microchip so the owner couldn't be contacted. Possibly she was only recently chipped and the details not yet added to the system. If you know of anyone missing this dog, please let them know to call Summerdale vet on 01277 631889
