Please check this dog out on UK German Shepherd Rescue for Zac if only to rule him out . I wish it could be him for you. The nose markings are very similar.

I checked the link posted by GingerScouser. I don't think it's Zac as the nose and eyes look different - although nose doesn't mean anything as I've seen a case of a pink nose turning into a darker one at 18 months of age... Anyway, my point is: The description states that they had their dog stolen for 6 months about 2 years ago. I wonder if it would be worth asking them where and how they got him back as he is very similar to Zac and Blu and you never know, there could be a link there?

I have added 2 posts to the Help Find Blu and Zac facebook page regarding two Husky type dogs running loose in the Plymouth area. I guess it is unlikely to be them, particularly given the comments that they are thought to be local dogs, however the description of the colouring of the two dogs sounds very similar to Blu and Zac.

Could this be your dog, being sold on Facebook by a person with only 3 friends on a local selling site in Welwyn Garden City/Hatfield in Hertfordshire. The selling post is https://www.facebook.com/groups/342332735809611/permalink/925684777474401/ but it's a closed group, and the profile of the person is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009191771491 but they do not have the dog for sale on their own page.

There's a guy in facebook selling two dogs called tank and bear on the pets for sale in doncaster facebook page. Both very similar looking to yours. Says they are both two and brothers if I remember rightly. if you need more details let me know.

Hi Sophie, Have looked at Max on dogs Trust Kenilworth but sady not Zac. Zac has light brown eyes but otherwise looks very much like Max.

Doglost ID 80988 Husky sighted loose near Luton Airport. Could people in the area keep an eye for the stray dog, always a slight possibility these were to hot to handle and may now have been dumped. Thoughts are with the owners x

There appears to be one photo for both (Blu & Zac) the dogs listed. Can pictures of both the dogs be listed to assist those helping in the search. I am in the south but thoughts are with the owners. Hope they soon turn up safe & well xxx

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
