Yippee Jimmys been caught, what a fabulous team and community pulling together, so pleased. Stay safe now Jimmy, you certainly gave them a run for their moneyXxx

Helen, I agree completely. You can't catch a dog on the run, especially one like Jimmy who looks as if he has quite a turn of speed. You can tempt, coax and lure, and if necessary trap, but it takes patience and clear thinking. Please note that if you end up setting a trap it needs to be watched 24/7 or someone will steal it even if chained down.

More sightings today. A number of people are monitoring his activities and a tracker dog would not add anything to the info coming in from people with smartphones.

Lots of sightings of Jimmy today the last one unfortunately heading towards the motorway again. Think there are too many people out looking for him which is lovely but I think they are spooking him and now he's in survival mode they will never catch him, may need to slow things down abit, log sightings and set people up to watch in certain areas, may need to build his trust again with feeding stations etc and possible trapping.Really concerned that he is heading towards motorway again though.Xxx

Bumped for sightings. In our experience, the most tempting bait is chicken fried in garlic with a side order of sardines or pilchards.

Please can admin bump this page with all the sightings yesterday?

Owners have just started today's search. They were so close to catching Jimmy yesterday but had to call it a day when it got dark as it appeared he'd gone into cover for the night. They are at Nabbs Lane, Hucknall. There were several sightings of him there yesterday, around the shops and the chip shop (think it's called The Seagull?). Please DO NOT leave food out for Jimmy at owners request as they fear he will not return to them if he is not hungry. Had an amazing response from the public who are assisting with the search. FB page "Find Jimmy Nottinghamshire" is being updated constantly so if you see anything or can assist then please get in contact on there. Really hoping today's the day they get their boy back x

Sightings seem to show Jimmy is staying within a triangular area. Owners have popped a message on FB to say they are hoping to be at Nabbs Lane, Hucknall for 7.30ish tomorrow morning where they will try and cover that area and walk to Moorgreen, another sighted area. Please if anyone can spare time out their day to print off some doglost posters and join them they would be very grateful. Thank you. (Debbie, this is Rachel- I sent you a text today. I hope you don't mind me updating on here x)
Debbie
Jimmy has been seen today (02.01.15) at Collier Woods near Moorgreen, again he would not approach and ran off. Thank you Ian for calling in and trying so hard. Posters have been put up about the area and handed out to dog walkers around. BARK Rescue have advised that should you see Jimmy, curl up on the ground and start wimpering, he should come over to investigate you and slolwy you may be able to gain his trust. Please keep calling in if you see him, its the only way we have any idea of where he might be heading. He is certainly a way from home. Thank you for all the comments and support that has been shown to get him home to us.
