Owner has said that Harvey escaped when carer visited a family member. He wasn't present so doesn't know exactly what happened. This is very worrying, espeially when Harvey had a big hood on him. I do wonder why he wasn't seen by someone? Please keep sharing this little one. Thank you. x

I'm sure this just can't be the little chap but @oldiesclub https://twitter.com/juliefowler6/status/552169715242905600 found - I know it's 3 hours from where lost & he's half body size (but poster image could be older & sometimes pics distort) & found dog description doesn't sound like Harvey but could someone please take a second look.

Phew! I'm in contact with owner thanks to Miss Marple. he hasn't got email but his friend who listed Harvey has given it to him, I think and hope. I can't fathom how Harvey got far with that hood/collar on witout being noticed. I am really thinking he could have been picked up but why not handed in as it is obvious he was under he vets at the time due to collar and scar probably. Also advised owner to check councils and highways etc as they don't scan dogs. Advised lost of posters as someone may have seen him or seen something. So worried about this little chap. x
DogLostKimmybear - Area Co-ordinator, Essex & Hertfordshire borders
Owner, are you sure Harvey escaped? Coudl he have been taken? When you say VET COLLAR do you mean the big thing to stop him biting the stitches? If so you really need to search in case he's caught up somewhere. Please post of you can. If you can't please call us to update us. Thanks.

No response from owners yet, sadly. Owners please contact me as I need to know if you received the email and how you are doing? We can help you every step of the way. x

Caro, posters and getting word out to everyone you meet would be the best thing right now. That way if someone sees him they can find a poster and call owner. Sometimes searching doesn't find anything, although it can do, but postering and speaking to people means more eyes on the look out. If you can get a handful of posters done in the immediate area or even further out a bit, at least when he comes out of hiding, if that is what he's doing, some one may see him. They can be very elusive. Also, posters make dogs too hot to handle if someone has him. Thank you. x
caro
I live in tiptree and have been looking each day since the poor little fella went missing. Happy to search tomorrow am and any advice would be appreciated. How best should i use my time. Should i stay in the immediate area that he went missing, there are lots of bushes nearby. Should i search further afield.
