Went to RSPCA on Thursday and still not open, but they did let me look around. Visited RSPCA today (Saturday) and it was actually open. Did not see any of doglost dogs in there. I will go to Leigh Dogs Home but I can only go when I am off work. Cheers Jan xx

CHECKED HALEWOOD RSPCA TODAY. RSPCA WAS CLOSED (WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL THURSDAY AFTER CHRISTMAS, WAS ALSO CLOSED ALL LAST WEEKEND - DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGES). THEY LET ME WALK AROUND AND CHECK FOR DOGS ON MY LIST. I HAVE ALREADY LEFT COLOURED POSTER WITH RSPCA. CHEERS JAN XX

Don't we have a coloured pic if Bark yet, i see lots of terriers on leads she could be one of them if found. I'm always on the street walking my mad weim round Bootle but mostly the North park which i did see the poster for the first time. really hope she's back soon. The dog in Crosby wasn't Bark :( however had a phone call last night. A lady said she seen a dog that looks like Bark running stray on Knowsley Road around 4.00pm which is where she went missing from! The lady was too scared to approach the dog but seen the posters and went home and called, unfortunately when my mum went to search the area again nothing... The lady who called asked if she would bite and when I said no she said if she sees Bark she will pick her up and call me but said the dog she seen looked fine. This is the second sighting of a dog that looks like Bark in the area but we have searched the area for hours on end and cannot see anything. It may be that we are just missing each other and hopefully she is trying to find her way home. Just gives us hope as it has been a few weeks to keep searching until we find her xxxx

I am going to contact the paper, there has been a sighting of a homeless man selling the big issue in Waterloo Crosby with a dog on a rope that looks very similar, my mum is going down to have a look today. x

I called (RSPCA) but nothing I will keep calling every morning, called council the lady said if she has been killed on the road I wouldn't know because they just get thrown into an insuator!! Surely that cannot be allowed there must be a list of dogs they have picked up... I feel sick thinking about it.. Come back Bark please.. hopefully someone has her and she is safe and well. The lady in the vets told me to put dog in need of medical attention on the leaflet / posters that way if anyone wants to keep her they wont they will be more likely to hand her in.. unsure whether to do this or not. IF BARK IS IN AN AREA THAT ARE USED TO DOGS ROAMING SHE WILL NOT STAND OUT. HOPE SOMEONE DOES THE RIGHT THING, TAKES HER IN AND HANDS HER INTO THE POLICE. That sounds promising, hope she's found soon, as Jan says if she is picked up by the dog warden she will be taken to Halewood RSPCA. Check out Animals In Need at Melling as well

Had a call this morning at 9.05 pm lady was getting on bus stop at knowlsey road when a dog of similar description ran into the road (bark doesn't have much road sence as she has gone a little deaf through old age) She said she ran into Percy Street, but the lady had to get on the bus. My mum and boyfirend are out in the area now looking for her. The street she ran down is the next street to where she went missing.. Lets hope this is her trying to find her way home x

LOOKED AT DOG IN RSPCA AND SPOKE TO OWNER. SHE IS GOING TO HAVE A LOOK AND SEND A COLOURED PHOTO INTO ADMIN. DOG WAS PICKED UP FROM WALTON WHICH IS NOT FAR FROM BOOTLE, SHE HAS AN UNDERSHOT JAW. EXPRESSED TO OWNER THE IMPORTANCE OF GOING IN PERSON TO RSPCA AT LEAST ONE DAY A WEEK. I HAVE LEFT A DOGLOST POSTER BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER IF PICTURE WAS IN COLOUR. REGARDS JAN (LIVERPOOL) XX

RUNG RSPCA AND THERE IS A SIMILAR SOUNDING DOG IN THERE, TAKEN IN 6/12/06. SPOKE TO OWNER, SHE HAS BEEN KEEPING IN TOUCH WITH RSPCA AND LAST VISITED ON 6/12/06.
