- Got a phone call yesterday that Jazz had been spotted in Lowson Ave, Carnoustie on Saturday morning. This is on the other side of Carnoustie ( a reasonable sized town about 5-6 miles from where Jazz went missin. She was wandering round a womans garden who has just moved into the area and thought it was one of her neighbours dogs until she spotted our poster in the co-op on Monday and then decided to phone me. We went round there last night and posted flyers and spoke to some folk and generally wandered about shouting on her but no joy. We also put more posters through the police station door, the post sorting office and whatever shops were open. I think if it was her ( and the woman seemed quite sure) then she is now in a heavily residential area and there might be more chance of someone picking her up and handing her in to the appropriate people. Though how she managed to get to where she is and not be picked up by someone already I can't imagine. Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for good news.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Jazz is also on the "dog pages" forum, and will hopefully be featured in the Dundee evening telegraph soon. I've tried K9search but they have no helpers in Scotland at the moment. Since Jazz took off direct from her front door I think she must be in the area if she is fending for herself, however she may be injured or unable as we have walked and shouted all over the farm and surrounds and have heard absolutely nothing, no yelps, squeaks, or anything. This leads some people to think that she may be dead, though we've seen no evidence and some think she's been picked up by a kind stranger who has fallen in love with her - it's easy done! It's hard to keep hoping and get no response but my fingers are still crossed.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
