Any more updates on this puppy xxxx

Charlotte will be staying with her foster carer for a couple more days whilst the owners put up some better fences. Thanks to Gill her breeder for the update.

I may have been a little premature in turning this one blue. The DW is going to inspect the owner's fences before releasing her.

She was found on the day she went missing and wasn't scanned. Owners posted her lost today so in effect only had 2 days left to claim her, so they've been lucky. Just proves when we are trying to match lost and found dogs we should ignore chips.Last edited: 2014-12-15 21:45:18 by Me N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer

Glad to see Charlotte safe and back with foster family....gorgeous girl xx

Confirmed that this little one was in fact Charlotte. Apparently fostered out by Hounslow DW.

I have changed the breed to GBGV. (I have to say that the angle of the pic makes it hard to differentiate between a petit and a grand.) Given the location it would seem that it could well be Charlotte. Knowing the breeder of Charlotte, I would be 100% sure that she would have been chipped before leaving Cumbria.

Faulty scanner or a faulty chip ?

I have spoken to the owner of Charlotte 79840 the Grand Basset Griffon Vendeen puppy. English is not his first language so have also spoken to the breeder and she is now "on the case" she is sure that this pup is missing Charlotte and can't understand why her chip has not been scanned as she chipped her herself before she left for her new home. I hope she will soon be back with her loving family.

This pup is a Griffon Vendeen. Suprised she is not microchipped as most breeders of these hounds do as a matter of course.

I'll have her if owners not found
