Just to add to my wife's comments (via Lilybear below) - thank you so, so much to all the people who helped search for Quill & Muffin and spread the word so quickly. Thank you especially to Lilybear who has been amazing as a DogLost volunteer! We shall be signing up to that role, too, now.

Great news, Quill & Muffin are HOME! Message from their owners: Delighted to announce that Quill and Muffin were found safe and well this morning
in the garden of a house on Black Dog Hill (so very close to where they
ran off 48 hours ago). They are filthy, exhausted and starving. We are
so thankful to have them back and also for the amazing support from the
local community, dog walkers and the wonderful Dogs Lost organisation.
Happy Friday everybody!

Thank you Lilybear, for all your help. I have now been in contact with several people on the Bowood Estate including Lady Lansdowne, The Gamekeeper and The Estates Manager as well as Mark who farms the sheep there. No luck yet, though.Last edited: 2014-11-20 11:53:02 by Ellisman

Please let me know if I can help. I live nearby but working late tomorrow. Will ask around locally.

Quill & Muffin are micro chipped & tagged. Lost in the big field after the new housing development to the left. They may have wandered onto the Bowood Estate. Popping out with posters later this evening.
