- We now know that Violet legged it across a couple of fields and on to the Hemsworth bypass. By a fantastic stroke of luck she was quickly caught by a kind lady driver who took her home and kept her safe, then put the word around. As Violet was reported missing from S Yorks and ended up in West Yorks, it took a while to match up the reports.

- Violet escaped from garden when firework went off unexpectedly. She does not have her collar on but is chipped. Owners have already notified, dog warden, vets, and chip company. Sending me pictures as they have not been able to add to poster. Violet is missing from just off busy main road that leads to lots of open fields. Help from dog walkers needed please.

- Ive seen poster in chip shop today, Ive let mum know as she is one of the post delivery people. Contact Dearne FM 01226 204040 they have been good in past. Ive shared onto my facebook page & asked people to check outbuildings & barns as she will hide up until she stops been scared. I will have a walk around tomorrow as I am going to cemetery. If you have some plastic wallets put posters in 'with open end at the bottom' put a bit of tape on to stop picture falling out & put up near church as lots of people will be around. Also put up on fence on path just off Barnsley Road. I don't think she will have gone far. Fingers crossed she will be home soon.
