We just received these pictures of Samson safely in his rescue. As you can see, he is delighted to be safely out of the Pound, taking his first steps to a new and happy life accompanied by his new tennis ball!
He owes his life and bright future to so so many people. His Pound Puller, Sharon Smith of First Step Strays, his rescue, Rochdale Dog Rescue who offered him his life-saving rescue space and covered his transport to get safely to them, and every single one of you guys, our amazing Pounds for Poundies supporters who shared, commented and donated to help him when he needed it most.

I registered an American Bully from the SDK Website, not sure if this is the same dog, cant tell from the picture and not sure of the area Samson is from. Found 75788. Just hope he is safe now bless him. xxx

'Samson' has been offered a place at a rescue, according to Pound For Poundies, which is excellent news. There was much activity on FB yesterday hoping that he would be Rex (66999) but unfortunately not. Does anyone know where this dog has been for the past week, why he was not registered on here until yesterday. 7 days to find an owner is short enough time but without publicizing a found dog it would be nigh impossible. Without the intervention by people on FB yesterday he would probably have been PTS - that is not acceptable when there are people out there willing to help, foster, rescue.
