Two possible sightings Thursday -The sighting at the Flash leisure centre by the canal was early Thursday morning...later on in the day, early evening, sighting by the Hope, Buttington / Leighton....Neither confirmed to be Hank so far- if anyone can please put up some more posters in this area it would be hugely appreciated.
Woodville
We didn't hear of any sightings of Hank yesterday so would appreciate anyone letting us know if they have seen him or noticed bins etc being raided , but please don't approach him or even call him as it can add to his fear of people at the moment.
A trap that food has been going from for two nights was set last night and was being monitored and watched from afar through the night. I left just before midnight but no sightings or food taken, but it was pouring with rain so sensibly Hank was probably sheltering from the weather somewhere. Hopefully the better weather today may encourage him out. Keep your eyes peeled everyone please!!

All u guys looking and helping for Hank I know its been a little while but please don't give up on him he's a cold hungry frightened doggy who needs us to keep going for him,it will come good in the end.

cal
Haven't heard about any more sightings of hank, hope he's o.k,I keep looking when we're driving near to the sightings.
sue
Anymore sightings hope he gets found soon
Spindle
So hope this lovely boy is safe soon. Feeding station needs to be in quiet location, not disturbed by people or dogs. Important to use the right food to attract him to it and somewhere than can be monitored safely from a distance.
Woodville
Hank's owner has just send out texts saying he has seen him 5 mins ago and asking that people just report sightings and don't now try to engage with him by calling name, making eye contact or approaching him. This is really important message to pass round as he is now working towards using a trap once we can set up and continue regular feeding stations. All info on sightings will be really useful to know where is best to keep a feeding station. Thanks everyone for all you are doing for this sad situation.
Tansey
there is a male border in FOUND section 76115 ???
Woodville
Apparently Hank was seen back in Ardleen on a building site. Although approached by a group of people he managed to get away.
Hank is regularly covering a big distance seemingly via the Montgomery canal so please everyone keep you eyes open. At this stage sightings are really important so we can track his movements and give us a better chance to know where to set up a feeding station. He seems to like bins so pleas etch these for rummaging too!
Thank you all again the people of Welshpool and around are fantastic and the Many Tears Rescue supporters all want to move here and can understand why Hank is choosing to hang out here :)
Woodville
Eff is walking along the tow path from Tescos towards the flash and onwards as he was certainly using this area yesterday and we had several positive sightings. john his owner is also going to be around again from today onwards so his mobile (on the posters and above) is best number to use to pass on sightings quickly
Goldenfrodo
Thanks for all your help. Its good that he seems to be staying in the same area. Please stay safe Hank until we can help you get back to your family x

I saw him at 8.15 this evening by the flash, just by the canal tow path. Definately Hank - still has lead on. Unfortunately as soon as he saw me he ran off up the canal again. Did try to follow but it was too dark to see. I asked the staff at the Flash to keep an eye out for him.Last edited: 2014-10-06 23:24:21 by shell

Bumping due to sightings, Goldenfrodo - i have added you to a message stream on fb which is asking for help and advice- a trap is also being asked for to be borrowed if anyone has one locally- subject to a feed station being set up and hi settling agin in one area.
Woodville
Have left food out for him in Windmill Lane where we are guessing he may have spent last night. Someone will check it early in the morning and his family are travelling back to continue looking tomorrow in the areas he has been sighted today.
Thanks everyone you are amazing!!
Woodville
Hank was seen running fast near Rhualt lane around 5.30pm and then later this evening he was seen crouching in a ditch on a lane near The Flash.
Thanks to everyone that is helping to look out for him and letting us know their sightings. The kindness of people has been amazing and has helped to keep his family and the Many Tears Animal Rescue search party motivated in such sad circumstances. Please can everyone reading this pass on to friends around the Welshpool area as we really need as many eyes as possible looking for this guy so he can get back to his new family and stay safe
Eff
Two sightings today, one at 8am and another at 1.30pm both in fields near to windmill lane again.
alikat
Obviously a very hungry boy, so a feeding station close to latest sightings would surely keep him in one area?
Sally H
Hank has been sighted by several people in the Red Bank/Windmill Lane area of Welshpool. He was spotted savaging through bins and ran off...was very frightened. He ran off towards the Windmill lane area at the top of Red Bank. My friend, Sarah Jones, drove after him and he was spotted in the fields nearby near to Windmill Lane. This was yesterday evening Sunday 5th October and is 7-8 miles away from where the accident was.
alikat
Sounds like you need to have a very, very smelly barbecue close to the last sighting and see if it will tempt him out. You may need to do it on several days before he comes close enough to maybe be caught, but it might win his confidence.
snorky
This is the latest update as of yesterday 4/10/14 - Hank has been seen several times today, venturing into a farm yard twice, near the village school, along a towpath and into someone's garden - but bolts whenever he sees anyone. All sightings still very close to the crash site so at least he is staying in the area.
alikat
No Jojo, face markings are quite different... plus this one is in Essex, seen the day after Hank went missing in North Wales. As he is so nervous, I don't think anyone would have been able to catch him and move him to Essex in that time scale. Well spotted though!
Jojo
Dog on facebook looks very much like yours
