PLease note we are unable to get any more information on this dog . Many offers of a home are being sent and requests for this information are being asked at head office.
Unfortunately we have no idea on this little one. He was taken by animal wardens from police. I was told if not reunited would be up for rehoming. I have no idea where the dog is for this purpose as were not very forth coming. Even police are not kept up to date. All can suggest is ring rather than email and ask which kennels this dog is at for rehoming.
Dog was collected by animal wardens and these details are on their web site which should help locate.

The problem is we no idea which kennels he will go to for rehoming. Police are unaware as well as was taken in and now in care of council and animal warden.
I will see if they will give this out by contacting animal wardens. Hope they do as getting may requests

I have heard that it was not parvo as we thought. He will be kept for the 7 days and if no owner is found will be rehomed.
I am awaiting a reply on how he is responding and how his health is now etc .

Photo just arrived direct from police so adding in the hope someone may recognise who this little one belongs to.
This little one was found in the woods wrapped up in a blanket. Show signs of being sick plus passing blood. Taken to vets by dogwardens and now in care of vets.
Either dumped by a callous owner or if stolen then dumped to avoid vets bills.
Either way need to track down an owner for this dog so please x post and share.

Handed to police as found in woods. Taken by dog warden to vets as very ill..
Male Chihuahua dark brown with lighter tan patches. aged possibly 3 to 4.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
