Reunited this evening after DOGLOST and FB worked their magic once again. I had a call back from the teacher that had originally found WHIZZY. He was able to narrow down the area that he found her in and I spoke to the relevant DW who agreed to take Whizzy in the morning. Then this evening I had a call from a young man that said he was Whizzy's owner. After receiving photographic evidence via email, I collected Whizzy and her carer and took them over to the owners house. Whizzy has had the most remarkable 36hrs. She spent some of it on a school bus, lap hopping, then became the Rugby School mascot for a rugby tournament. She had a sleep over in Leamington last night and then back to Rugby School today, where she spent the day in one of the girl's boarding houses and was briefly renamed Tinkerbell. She'll be telling the other farm dogs some really interesting bedtime stories :DLast edited: 2014-09-22 23:49:18

Very vague details for this girl. She was picked up off the road by a school teacher that was travelling from Buckingham to an away fixture in Rugby with his school team. The dog was then left in the care of a teacher at the school that they'd travelled to because the alternative was to put the dog back on the road near to where it was found!! No DW's that have been spoken to will take the dog because the lady that is caring for it cannot say exactly where it was found. I am waiting for contact from the teacher that originally picked it up in the hope that he can shed some light on where the dog is from. Please keep your eyes open for LOST posts that could be linked to this find.
