- Other Info Recovered from her scare and eating nicely. I notified council kennels but wardens not around until Monday (8th Sept) so I will contact then. She's not microchipped. She was wearing a collar, but no tag.

- REUNITED with her owner. Somebody alerted him to my FaceBook shares and owner got in touch. He'd been out all night looking for her. Seems she'd got out from a local farm near where I found her, after falling into a river and getting confused. Her owner was delighted to be reunited with her, and hopefully he'll put a name tag on her or, better still, get her microchipped so that if it happens again, he can be reunited immediately. Was nice to see him pop her down and watch her tail wag as she walked happily through her familiar territory.

- I've notified everybody, police, kennels and, when they're back in tomorrow, wardens. But she's staying right here with me and my two friendly spaniels until I can find her owner. She's had too much of a terrifying experience to stay at the pound. Somebody surely must be missing her? I notice another dog, male, looking just like her was found in the same lanes last October on this site. Nobody claimed him - dog id 59136 - it says reunited but when I read it more closely he actually was rehomed.
