I had a email from Tia's owner this evening - copied below
"Hi just to update u tia was found to day by a nice lady who contacted the dog wardens and they contacted me and have now reunited me with her and thank you very much for all your help"

- I am so pleased she has been found after all this time. But I don't understand why she had to get as far as being in a rescue when she is microchipped? Why would the rescue centre not scan immediately she came in and contact the owner??
