- Just spoken to Pamela at Croft Kennels & Cattery - she doesn't know who has changed the dog to a Staffy; she's still convinced he's a pit bull. The dog was taken by the dog warden & is now in the care of Argyll and Bute Council. The police are also involved. Pamela said he's a lovely boy.

- Myhal - the collie photo is just an image waiting for a photo of the actual dog.
Could we have an update on this dog - has he been checked for microchip, who has him now. Any chance of a photo to share please. - 2014-08-18 15:54 Myhal
- It might help also to remove or edit the comments below. Dog looks like a Collie to me on the dog lost pic ;)

- That's better, thanks.

- This dog has not been deemed a pit bull type so perhaps it would be a good idea to change the description to crossbreed or similar.

- agree, it is worrying about the breed (stupid legislation, but it is there). Is there a picture? Poor dog, tied to a gate and abandoned. Makes blood boil.

- If this is indeed a pitbull terrier you need to contact the dog warden to asertain what exactly it is as this is a banned breed. However it may not be, therefore could be given a chance of rehoming. Tied to a gate is dumped. Needs an expert eye.
