Well done to Leanne & mum who locked him in a fenced area and called the police, took a while for them to catch him but with the help of random strangers in the area they caught him, now waiting for update from dog warden over the next day or so.

Done- Thanks Jacks, If any of the people looking for him could simply take a photo and log the sighting with you it would be really helpful so that we can plot the sightings onto a map.

Hi Jacks and admin
I would like to help in anyway I can if I could have a
contact number for jacks and I am happy to give her mine
A lot of people are just posting on the Facebook pages
Also seems a lot of people chasing it which as jacks says only makes
things worse
Happy to help with feeding station etc
ESSJ - Area Co-ordinator Rutland
Thanks Jacks, We need to set up a team to coordinate sightings and then hopefully set up some (again co ordinated)feed stations. He has been sighted frequently but no one has yet to get within 3 feet of him. The new DBC dog warden has a trap if we can get him into a regular routine in a safe place. Please take note of Jacks advice not to try and catch/chase/call him. I am up in Rutland so can't physically help, not sure how close Hazel is- would you mind coordinating this one please Jacks. If any of you want to call me to be put in touch with each other please call admin to get my phone number. Jacks - if you want to add yours to the second contact number above please let me know.

I live Leverstock Green Road near the Crabtree Pub. Can I help in any way ie leave food out for this dog. Not seen it but now that I am aware will keep an eye out for it. Thinking if it has a regular food source may be easier to catch/trap it? Last edited: 2014-08-15 01:14:30 by Georgette
