- Same here I will join an organised search, and I can probably drum up a few more to help. I look on the common when I walk my dogs, I have just been up to St. Wulstan's Nature Reserve and wish I had taken a poster as there is not one up there, I will take one next time I go.

- Would happily join a group search, if you feel it might help.

- Met owner today. As you can imagine she has already walked the roads and part of the common. It is such a difficult area to search with so many hedges, ditches, brambles etc - it is a daunting task to do a full search. I walked some of the road with my dog and walked round part of the common.
If you feel a group search would help let me know & I will come over and help. - 2014-08-15 08:32 Mollychops

- Have spoken to owner & I'm going to help search tomorrow morning. Will laminate some posters. Sorry I can't go over tonight. Fingers crossed that Byron is sheltering somewhere warm and dry.

- Thanks, I saw that, but have been speaking with owner. Byron wondered off from his home.in the village of Welland. He is getting very senile and wobbly on his legs. Ive stressed the importance of contacting as many vets and Dws in a large area, in case Byron gets handed in. He isn't chipped and has no disc, so Ive stressed the importance of emailing the poster to as many people as poss. Ive suggested owner goes door to door asking people to check sheds etc, and also anywhere he could be trapped where people are away etc. She has checked the stream and also ditches too. Ive asked to contact highways people and postmen. Hopefully he will be found safe soon. Ive emailed advice sheets and a link to the posterLast edited: 2014-08-14 12:35:12 by Mollychops

- Sorry to see that BYRON is missing.
- If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
- Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
- A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (73552)
- Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!
- You will need to be logged in to upload photos, edit your dog's details, or add comments. You can add comments by clicking on Click here to add a comment.
- Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
- If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
- If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
