Driven up to Blean to help search for Harry but no sight of him. The road is a very busy one and only has a footpath one side so take care when searching. Met Harry's mum and they have been out searching for him since 8:00am. He was last seen running towards the Royal Oak pub but not sure which side of the road he would have run to. Lots of gardens with plenty of hiding places. Owner has called at all houses and searched gardens but no luck so far. I took one of my dogs with me and we looked in the woods briefly but such a vast area it would need a proper search party. I then walked the footpath along the side of the bird garden which borders a large field behind the Royal Oak but had to turn back when I reached the stile as no access for my large dog to get into the field. Will go back tomorrow and help search further. Also suggested phoning the out of hours vet along with other local practices in case someone had found him and he needed veterinary care.
My parents live in the same road and my dad has put a copy of the poster on the village notice board and I gave the phone number out to two dog walkers I met whilst searching - one of whom lives opposite the Royal Oak.Last edited: 2014-08-03 20:19:01 by liznhar

Which part of Blean Common was he last seen in and which side of the road - the Tyler Hill Road side or the side with the woods? I live very near to Blean and can come and help search for him - just need to know which part.
