We are all so happy and relieved that Katie is now home safe sound and seemingly unscathed, other than hungry, thirsty and tired. She co-incidentally sought refuge in a friends garden. She was spotted twice over 3 days in this garden. We managed to lure her back with food and her basket and she allowed herself to be caught. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to Hazelbella, you were AMAZING. I don't know how I would have managed this week without your knowledge and support. You went way beyond the call of duty. Thank you SO much.

UPDATE: UPDATE: Katie was seen in a garden in Elstree on Thursday and Friday morning. She walked into a person's home and went upstairs, presumably looking for food. However, she ran away once the owner tried to pick her up. Please if you live along the railway line in Elstree or Borehamwood can you look out for her. It is important you do not approach her - if you can quietly block her escapes (shut gates or doors if she comes into the house) would be the best approach. Then to call 07708415875. Thank you.

Katie was spotted in Organ Hall estate around 7pm this evening. She is very skittish and runs away when approached. Please if you spot her call the number on the posters.

Katie
Important: Sighting of a female walking a small, white dog that looked nervous and kept jumping up at the person walking it - this fits the description of Katie. Seen walking in Red Road Park between 10-11am on 1/7. Appreciated if anyone can look out for a person with a dog that fits the description in Red Road park at that time. Thanks

Posters are up around the station and high st. Also posters at Elstree golf course and riding stables in the area. Will drop poster at post office sorting depot. Thanks that's a good idea.

No firm sightings if Katie since Sun 29/6 at 2pm in Organ Hall estate. A possible sighting on Tues 1/7 near the electrical substation next to Dane House on Theobald st.

We had a poster of the last missing dog up in our office. It'd make sense as the postie's delivering in that area may be able to keep an eye out.

Thank you so much to the person in Organ Hall who offered to spread the word. Been out today scent marking Organ Hall, Red rd park and my house. Have had no sightings today at all. Posters have gone up in the station, Organ Hall estate, Pets at Home and Red rd park. Been looking in all the bushes and safe holes I could find around Farm Close area of Organ Hall. Poster is up outside Merrifield School.
Stanmore dog warden and local dog warden have all been notified as have local vets and Animal Trust in Watford.
