Oh no, how heartbreaking. I recall that there has been some unexplained deaths of dogs in the New Forest over the last couple of years - I do hope that dear Fly wasn't a victim of this. I am so very sorry, and my thoughts are with the family at this sad time. Run free at the bridge lovely Fly, where my four spaniels will be waiting to play xxx

update from Jane ......

New Forest Fm have agreed to broadcast a plea for information and I have asked WAVE105 to do the same - but I've yet to hear from them.

Also a fresh updated article; the one I sent you yesterday, is on the New Forest Journal website and will go to print again tomorrow in this week's journal. Also there is an article on the Southampton Echo website. So things are going on

Fly is a much loved and missed family pet; who following a very shaky start in life, has learned to trust us. He needs to be at home.
We are extremely grateful to all those who have so generously donated their time and energy during this on-going search for Fly. The many kindnesses demonstrated to us and Fly have been humbling indeed

Sorry I have been off line as my computor decided to die so trying to catch up......Fly's owner her friend and I were up there last Friday evening because of a ''sighting'' I say loosly as the elderly gentleman wasnt sure if it was Fly or not .but even though we stayed there until the rain came we saw nothing...but I also spoke to a young Lady who says she saw him at Godhill on the Wednesday but didnt think to call.....dont say it, I thought it but cant be rude. His owner has some up date information so will post it on here then copy onto the poster ....we need a firm sighting.
