- So pleased he has been re-united. He looks so forlorn, bless him. What would we do without our kind fire fighters.

- This boy has now been scanned and sadly no microchip! They reckon he's approx 10 years old, entire and a little over weight.

- The fire service rescued this poor boy tonight from the brambles at the side of the canal next to the Highwayman pub. Luckily The Oxford Animal Sanctuary agreed to take him in so I guess they will scan tomorrow for a chip. He had no collar on! Poor mite looks so scared!
