- Other Info Jess is a small collie x terrier. She is very timid and frightened. She jumped off my brother's boat as he pulled into the first inlet after entering Dartmouth Estuary, as she was frightened by the gunfire from the ships and ran off.

- I would like very much to say a big heartfelt thank you to all of you for all the moral and practical support you gave me while Jess was missing. I'm touched deeply by it all and feel somewhat overwhelmed. I would like to say a special heartfelt thanks to Jayne for all she did. It was truly above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you Jayne. You helped me so much and eased my worries and pain. I'd also like to say a special thank you to my Sister @ Groomdog. Thank you. You're a diamond and I hope to be seeing you really soon for a big hug and a good catch up. Again...thank you all. Jess has settled back to our normal routine again now and I'm sure is more confident in herself for being away for so long so I think some good has come out of it :).

- Jess is back! Hoorah...owner left sleeping bag on beach and after traipsing round looking for her...was so relieved to find her waiting there....emotional reunion...owner will post tomorrow when he gets into the library to use their PC...tx everyone...I was so concerned about his dog Jess!

- The Big Issue Foundation posted a photo of Jess and this information:
"Big Issue vendor Ralph set off a few days ago to fulfil a lifelong ambition to sail along the south coast with his best friend, his dog Jess.
They arrived in Dartmouth last night by dingy from Plymouth at the same time as the Naval College near by were firing guns. Unfortunately this scared Jess who ran off. Jess doesn't know the area and Ralph has been searching for her all night but has been unable to find her.
Ralph has asked that if anyone lives in the Dartmouth area please look out for her, if not please share this message and help spread the word. It would mean the world for Ralph to have her back.
