Looking at pics of breeds on google the Italian Greyhound looks quite similar. Possibly a cross between that and a jack Russell. He/she was sandy coloured with a colourful collar on. The poor thing was so terrified he wouldn't go near anyone. He started running towards Yatton Keynall but then turned and ran back to the main road A420.

To clarify this dog was sighted only - none of is were able to catch him/her unfortunately.
