- Alfie was stolen from owners house while he was caring for his terminally ill wife. He managed to track him down in Uttoxeter - the people who stole him sold him and they told the police that they sold him to someone in essex but then were told by another family member that he was sold to someone in oxford.- please share everywhere all over the country especially if you are near the Oxford or Essex areas.

- hey, don't know if this helps but I phoned the finder on the 18-5-2014, a man called Ian answered and told me the dog was with someone as he couldn't have dogs where he lived, he was meant to phone me back the day after to tell me of his markings but he never did and wouldn't answer the phone when I tried to phone back (I've lost my springer and am trying everyone one that looks like him)

- I live about 10 miles from Uttoxeter. Would it be worth contacting Glenthorne vets. One of their practices is in the middle of Uttoxeter. If it would help I could give them a poster in the morning as they are doing routine work for our cattle. Maybe it would also be worth contacting CAESSR, which is a springer rescue group which covers this area, their website has a lost and found page and they have many followers. Good luck
