- Sounds like you are looking after your neighbour well and wouldn't it be lovely if she falls in love with one of the rescues she walks :)

- Thanks Annie yes it's a bitter sweet situation and I'll be suggesting a rescue if she decides on another. We volunteer walk for the Senior Staffy Club and have asked her if she's fancies doing some volunteer walking with us which she seemed keen to do so in the meantime she can get her doggie fix that way and she can see our two every day too bless her x

- Really pleased to see she has been found safe and well but obviously your neighbours will be devastated by this turn of events.
I know it is early days, but when the times comes and they feel ready to have another dog, may I suggest visiting one of worcestershire's dog rescue centres - either Worcester Animal Rescus Shelter near Malvern (http://www.wars.org.uk/bdogs.html) or The Dogs Trust at Evesham (http://www.dogstrust.org.uk/rehoming/searchcentres/evesham/#.U4DU5igkQg8). Both of these centres are always looking to rehome similar dogs to Cookie and the rehoming process includes microchip checks so that your neighbours would not have to go through such heartache again.Last edited: 2014-05-24 18:28:57 by Annie - 2014-05-24 14:36 Ellie
- Thank for the update Joe. One of those sad set of circumstances for your neighbour whilst happy ones for Cookies previous owner.
