I did nothing with this one! Max and Nog just did what they do best, helping a dog owner in need. Max has heard me rabbit on about doglost adventures for years, they did the hard work!

Patita was found safe and sound about an hour ago. It was mainly through the incredible instinct of MaxM's partner who went out with me this evening back to the area she went missing. From a distant we thought to hear a faint howling but it didn't respond when I was calling Patita. We still went into the direction and eventually located the area. By that time it was dark and we had to get torches.MaxM's partner also amazingly persuaded his neighbours (at 10.30pm!)to help. Through incredible luck Patita was found in thick undergrowth with her flexi lead tangled around bushes. MaxM partner you are a hero. I will be grateful to you and your kind neighbours forever. Patita is happy and one would not notice she was stuck in the depths of the woods for two days. Huge thanks you to all you caring people who helped with Patita's search in so many different ways. Happy End!

Owner & my partner have been looking this evening. Believe they have heard a dog howling in very dense undergrowth area called Riding Copse, south east of Peaslake. They are returning to the area now with torches and neighbours to check. Fingers crossed.

Sorry to read that Patita is missing. We normally walk the Coldharbour side of Leith Hill, but unfortunately we are going away later today, so wont be walking. I can put some posters up in Coldharbour this evening before we go. I hope you find her soon.

Just back have been down Peaslake and the other side of the car park also away from the paths. I was really concentrating if I could hear any response to me calling her but nothing. Please everyone in and around the Hurtwood, Peaslake and Holmbury areas please keep on looking out for her. Thanks very much MaxM. I will give more posters to Mike at Holmbury Garage if you or others want to pick them up and spread out. Thanks so much to everyone helping find her. She is very special.

Thanks MaxM... Vets etc have all been contacted including the Hurtwood Ranger, I've also been scrolling through Facebook for local groups and have sent messages to them too... We've been out tonight too for a couple of hours and her owner is also out searching... But no sight or sound. Lots of posters have gone out already and I'm sure more will.. Thanks for your help
MaxM
My Partner and dog have been out for several hours today combing the area that Patita was last seen. They didn't stay on paths but have been off road and absolutely no sign. Let's hope she is busy making her way home. We don't have access to a printer, but will happily do some more postering tomorrow if someone local could run some off for us? Have local vets, dog warden, rescues been contacted? Come on little one, show yourself.

Many thanks for everyone's help in looking for Patita, sadly we still have no sight or sound. I have been out today around the Hurtwood this morning and nearer to her home in The Pasturewood this afternoon calling and postering and her owner was out early putting out posters. We continue to hold with the hope that she will make her way home. We will go out again shortly.

Patita was last seen on the Radnor Road side of The Hurtwood.. Heading in the rough direction of the Youth Centre car park... It's my belief that she will try and find her way home, she is an inveterate Houdini and has gone missing numerous times before but always come home, though never from as far away as this. Her owner Marion lives in Beatrice Webb Drive by the Belmont School area, so a pretty straight forward route for Patita unless as we fear, that she is caught up with the lead. I also believe that she is such a clever girl that if caught, she would bark or even try and chew though the lead. She is also very friendly so would possibly seek out humans though if free I think she would just be more determined in finding home.
Marion
Patita got lost not far away from the car park between Peaslake and Holmbury Hill on the side of Holmbury Hill. Thanks to everyone who will look out for her. I fear that she got stuck with her flexi lead away from a path. Please cyclists and walkers away from paths have a lookout for her. It's her only chance to be found if she got stuck. So sorry to read. We are local and walk the hurt wood and leith hill daily. Will keep a lookout tomorrow morning. Any more specifics on area? Hurt wood is a big, which control car park? Good luck on safe and prompt return
