Thanks to all followers for comments. Bobby did take a weeks B&B in a disused badger sett in the same area when he was only 9months old but I managed to dig him out then. Didn't know where he was located this time tho'? His collar is strained and the tag has been torn off so he must have been really well wedged in? Suspect last night's rain may have helped Bob extricate himself from the sett? Sorry you lost your BT Charlotte and you are spot on re. bluebell time and delicious kitten scent everywhere! Perhaps he feels the need for a weeks holiday around Mayday?

So happy he's safe and well ,I lost and never found a border about 7 yrs ago it's terrible ,we also dug out one off my other ones r last spring ,they are always worse at bluebell time as the rabbit have baby's or the sents better .now they are on leads which I hate but they love to hunt and get them selves stuck ,once again brilliant news that Bobby is back with you xLast edited: 2014-05-08 18:05:55 by Charlotte Watson

Fantastic news Ian and thank you for the update.

As above: Bobby (AKA Mr .Mole) has just returned home on his own. He has lost a fair bit of weight but other than that appears fine? He has now been well-fed and watered and is fast asleep. Many thanks to all who monitored Bob's disappearance and posted updates via Facebook etc.(thanks Jen/Joe).

You clever boy Bobby but where have you been?? I'm thinking maybe a rabbit hole had something to do with his disappearance if he has lost weight, may have taken that for him to get himself out.

So happy to see him back home, stay safe now little man xx
