Thanks skippy for the text with the great news. :)

CHUFFED to bits for LAYLA and her family that they are back together again. Hopefully she will settle down soon and not be so fearful when out and about. Family did an outstanding job in their search worked really hard.

LAYLA is a rescue and we do not know what she has been through in her short life. Easy for people to criticise when they do not know the circumstance and may not own or ever have owned a dog who is very nervous.

Wishing LAYLA and her family all a very happy future together sending them lots of hugs and cuddles which we know LAYLA is getting. xxx

Huge sigh of relief - more of a Houdini than a Layla ;-)

Really pleased to report that Layla is HOME SAFE

She was found on Wallasey Golf Course a little earlier. She is muddy, but very pleased to be home after her adventure. Her owner would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped and looked out for Layla

I have been told that her owner now has a full body harness on order for her. All crossed this little houdini has had her last escape.

I've been promised a reunited photo and will update when I receive it.

Welcome home gorgeous girl - stay safe now lovely. xxLast edited: 2014-03-16 19:01:26 by skippy

CROSS POSTED:

*** MISSING DOG ***

Layla ran away 3 days ago after slipping her lead in Royden Park, we got her back a few hours later.
Today, outside Sainsburys in Hoylake, she somehow got out of her Harness and ran towards the beach up Alderley Road, I chased her towards the beach and made it as far as the waters edge, by this point, she had turned in the direction of Moreton shore. This was the last time she was seen! please share this image and help bring our dog back home once more!

She is VERY timid, and was found on a doorstep after running 8 miles away. she has her Collar on and is microchipped. if you find her, please call 01516322516 or 07875142277 and we will collect her!
