Conrad has been seen in a wood yard where a kind man has been feeding him and owners have been notified. They have seen him themselves a couple of times but he has run away each time. They have now borrowed a cat trap to try and get him in. Fingers crossed it wont be long before he is home.

Lots of posters put up and given out around the village but no sightings of Conrad at all. As he wouldnt have known the area does anyone know how far he would be likely to wander? Starting to lose a bit of hope now :(

Thanks janiejewel1649 I will pass on your advice to the owners. I'm going to take a walk round the village tomorrow and will take some treats and call his name as I go. I'm quite surprised that he has been seen in 2 locations which are a little way apart. Unfortunately he had just moved into the house as was being looked after by the owners parents as the owner has moved to Australia and Conrad is due to emigrate as well, so Conrad wont know the area and his previous house is 60 odd miles away so he wouldnt be able to find his way back there.

You may be right, someone is probably feeding Conrad. Goods that he is neutered, so wont be too far away. Put something in a container with Conrad`s scent on: his bedding say, or a blanket he has been using, and leave in the garden in a dry spot. Put something with your scent on too. Cats rely very much on scent. Also put some pilchards on his food dish, and keep calling him whilst tapping his dish. Also take DL advice, and put small "Lost cat" posters through as many doora as you can. My neighbours cat (Neutered male) once went awol, so posters were put up. A week or so later he was "Found" being fed by someone else, not too far from his house. Now reunited. Keep us posted. Good luckx
