Both Snoop and his son have returned home. They were rather too dry/clean/not in a state or starving to have been stuck down a rabbit hole. This leads me to believe that they were taken deliberately but that all the publicity meant that they were too 'hot' to keep. There have been a number of dogs missing locally recently & the consensus is that they are taken for fighting/breeding. Thankfully, in addition to all the publicity, both Snoop & his son are neutered & are scared of even chickens (deliberately)so are useless for both. Thanks to everyone!
