A male shih tzu has been found in jarrow near the river don. Not that far from where this dog went missing. Could this be Teddy?

Please check out Laurel Animal Rescue on Facebook. They have a male shitzu who looks very similar. I hope its not too late as they may have already rehomed him. Good luck x

Check out found dog id 65417 on dog lost male says found in central area but you never know its always worth checking also check out 65438 been found also

If you've got posters look through yellow pages and post to every dog groomer you can find,if someone has paid your friend money maybe they'll be getting him clipped. Having these dogs myself I know how often they need doing, and make sure all vets get his PIC too

Great friend.....file your theft with the police so they can keep a look out....you never know...nothing ventured, nothing gained ....if this is the case your friend is in the wrong and may be tempted to do it again ....take courage for Teddy's sake xx

I believe he was sold in longbenton area Newcastle upon Tyne,some time in December I gave teddy to a friend to look after him for a couple of weeks when I went back for him they are saying he ran away

• Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk

• Obtain a missing poster by clicking on View poster above. Posters are very important so start postering now!

• Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
