Very sad. I am glad he has been found and owner now aware, but such a terrible ending to a lovely story of this sweet baby. Safe in God's arms, a very special "dog" - fox dog. One fox who has already earnt his little wings. xx

Latest and new sighting Quote from owner 'The ginger ninja is getting closer to home! Spotted tonight in brimington! Come on Farls this game of hide and seek is wearing thin!'

I live just off old road. There are lots of foxes just off Loundsley Green and in Ashgate Plantation. I will look out but I doubt if a Fox pursuing a female scent will take any notice of me when I am walking a dog. I will watch for him and report here
muns
New sighting and definite as follows Farley has just been spotted in newbold near St. John's road, definitely him so keep eyes peeled please people! My comment This is 5 miles closer to home than last WE so we are hoping he is giving up...pray hard!!!Last edited: 2014-02-22 23:01:26 by muns

Update I've been sighted in dronfield on the 15th, 16th and 17th feb between 7pm-10pm, I still have my black harness on! This photo was taken of me near the contact club at 10pm on the 15th feb... Please remember if you see me and can shut me in ANYWHERE please do so and contact 07791 993992 or 07851 713690, if you think I'm in your garden and need food to put out text or call and mum will bring chicken over! However sure or unsure it's me or wherever you are as I can travel miles! I won't hurt you, I'm very shy, just very lost!! x

Latest info from owner Right people, Farley is currently in the dronfield area around Snape Hill, he may move on but has been spotted twice, once on the 15th and again last night at 7.30pm if anyone is around that area please look out and drive slow!

BUMPED due to SIGHTINGS. GOOD LUCK and rooting for him to be back home soon. xxx
muns
Owner is concerned as Farley's harness is broken and worried lest he get caught up but now has a definite sighting is elated that he is indeed still alive and no doubt will be doing her utmost to catch him. He won't approach anyone but her so please if sighted take a photo if possible and let her know immediately and of course a note of exact place and circumstances Her mobile number is above so if you live near the area please put in your mob phone now so available if you spot him. Likely to be active at night (he is a fox :-) ) Pamela is not putting the exact area for obvious reasons...there have been a few negative comments...aren't there always? from folk saying he should be in the wild etc so let him stay there when in fact he was one of a litter of 3 abandoned and the only one to survive being hand reared. This lad is not used to the wild and is not equipped to cope with it. She is worried about traffic obviously and guns which is why he has had a great coverage in the local press so hopefully anyone shooting may think twice...hopefully. The sighting is 9 miles from where he lives so if you draw a 9 miles circle from where we started around that circumference for helpful people trying to find Farley alive and well. Knowing how quicly dogs can go ferral let's hope Pam can find him sooner rather than later because catching a ferral fox....just my thought not Pams that I know of...
Shelagh
Hope you get him.keeping everything crossed for you and farley
Seeks
I so hope he will soon be in the blue. He does look lovely and you must be so worried.

Everything crossed for you x

Jumanji Can we bump farley as sighted? Pamela is going to try and find him now.....caught on CCTV....

I have put the image of him seen tonight as 2nd image on his profile
muns

Sorry to see Farley is missing. Squeaky toy is worth trying. Come on Farley, let`s get you back home.
DogLostMe N My Girl - Administrative Volunteer
Cherrelle the owner of missing Rufus ID 64159 said that she has been followed by foxes when using a squeeky toy to try to find her dog. Wonder wether Farley would be interested too.

It is their breeding time even in this weather here.

I really hope he will soon be found and back home safe. Shared him but too far away to be of any help but sending hopes
DogLostRavenette - Area Co-ordinator - West Sussex
Foxes mature sexually at around 10 mts, so it's highly likely that Harley has gone after a vixen, especially as its now the breeding season for foxes. Hope that he is found soon xxx

We think he is around the Stavely area, he has WHITE PAWS which are a massive give away that it is him. Thankyou for sharing the last post so much. Let's get this shared and get him home safe. He may still be in his harness like the picture. He is missed very much at home by his mummy Pamela Makinson who has raised him from being tiny. Please share and get in touch if you have any information.Last edited: 2014-02-13 09:57:24 by muns

Also ony option I had was fox terrier Please could admin change to fox?
muns
I have added Farley from FB I have asked person doing FB search on behalf of friend to add but as she is not a friend of mine it will go into her 'other' box so decided to add myself Hence if I have any details wrong or missing apologies...donebest I could as obviously a friendly fox in the outdoors on his own is very worrying especially if he has slipped his harnessLast edited: 2014-02-13 09:43:26 by muns
