Jess was lost last night. Owners have 2 dogs a yorkie and Jess, they go to the same place everyday, the yorkie decided to scarper into bushes, Jess carried on walking on a different path when owner turned round she was gone. They searched till 9:30pm last night and back out at 7:40am this morning.
They were walking on Chorlton Meadows, which if you cut across the football fields would bring you to the school. She is deaf so would not have heard calls.

Woo Hoo One happy doggy and 2 happy owners. Jess has returned to her owners, she was so happy to see them both, no doubt at all that she is their dog.

Possible owner on route to check the found out. Fingers firmly crossed as it sounds as though kennels are no place for this old girl.

Update on finders post

Update on our housemate:
Her legs are very very poor, she doesn't appear to be in pain but she really finds it hard to stand, she is currently in the garden walking around (she has been lay in the kitchen all morning) There is no way this dog has run away from it's owners she just wouldn't be able to, this leads me to think the worst that she has been abondoned. Our situation is we have a dog and cannot keep her for ourselves. I really really don't want to hand her over to be put in a cage for the rest of her days. There is still hope that she is lost and someone will come forward. I am really calling out again for everyones help on this, let us find the owner. Wardens are due anytime hopefully there will be a chip, if not I don't know what to do

Thanks. Posters being put up all around area she was found, owners are believed to be from the Chorlton M21 area, I have rang local vets and waiting for the dog warden to come. No reports of a missing dog with any of them. My wife is currently running around asking all local dog walkers if they know the owner.
Last night someone asked the police if they had seen a dog which matches her description, at this time the police were not aware of her being trapped in school grounds. Poice did try and find the people looking for their dog but had no joy
