- Was going to say looked very female facially and also the nipples were quite obvious whearas a males are not. Doubt was pregnant.lumps on lips are either a juvenile acne(less than 2years of age) or old ages growths. She looked grey on the face although that could just be the picture.. so may well be about 7 years of age going on appearance.
Also this colour of boxer is classed as red just incase the owner is searching red and white boxer with black mask... I would if it was one of mine... hope she gets reunited poor thing xLast edited: 2014-02-05 01:15:02 by BrubetchaBoxers - 2014-02-04 19:53 niknax71

- Oh no! The thought that this poor dog is not yet being afforded the dignity in death she/he so deserves is appalling ... I do hope some kind person would at least go and collect her/his body from the shore, and not leave it like a piece of flotsam :-(

- Is there anyone that can go and pick her up its awful to leave her xxx

- As the person who found this poor dog, I can confirm that he/she is deceased.
like someone else who commented, I too thought he/she may have been pregnant, but as i said i didn't think to double check gender at the time, so it could still be male (thought pretty sure it is female) and the swollen abdomen could be from being in the water as it was found on the shore.
As for where he/she is now, i phoned the council yesterday, and they said they'd be unlikely to collect until this morning. They took my phone number but i haven't heard back from them. Also, since he/she was found at the shore line, the tide may have carried him/her away again.
I only go to the area every couple of weeks, and so am not in a position to check whether the poor animal is still there. - 2014-02-03 08:14 LindaT
- I agree Alison, the link hasn`t been posted on the LETBR members forum due to that although we are aware, we have members with children who may be looking over their parents shoulder.

- Some people have expressed an opinion that the photos of the deceased dog are upsetting so I have removed them but kept them safe for the purpose of identification should an owner come forward.

- We feel sure the person responsible, whoever it is, will be found out, and meanwhile Lincolnshire Essex and Trent Boxer Rescue are checking on all the dogs that have gone into new homes in and around the area and making sure all is well with them. Personally ... we all know the dog loving grapevines have long reach and will want answers and justice for this poor babe, and when there are rescues at the end of a phone who will help if people can`t cope then it is sickening to see this poor babe end up in this way. God Bless you little one.

- Poor babe, Rest in Peace over the Bridge poppet ((())) I will ask Dawn who runs LETBR (Boxer Rescue) to keep her ears to the ground. I suppose it is possible this babe could have gone into the water and drowned, either from a beach or a boat, and someone is looking for her, a body could be carried a long way away. I hope there is a microchip so justice and/or closure can be sought. So, so sad :-(

- so sad, hope she wasn't dumped or she will never find her way home or would want to!
- 2014-02-02 17:58 niknax71
- I was there minutes before. A bloke asked me if i had lost one. I had no idea she was deceased. Poor thing. I hope she wasn't just dumped there because owners didn't want a vet bill. This has ruined my day
