There are lots of press stories on Libby. This is the report we like best:

Forgot to say GOOD LUCK with the investigation. Really hope that owners of dogs who went missing at the same time as Libby are reunited with their pets. Paws and fingers xd for a positive result in this case.
lesleyjane
Guess it's possible that Libbie was never taken to a vets whilst with this couple?? Not everyone is responsible and vaccinates their animals. So well done to the girlfriend and the neighbour concerned, hope the investigation is successful in reuniting other lost dogs.

This is amazing after all those years.Sending Libby and her family best wishes.xx
If only vets would scan all dogs or even dogs new to there practice, im sure they would find alot more of the lost and stolen dogs.

Brilliant news!!

Jackie. I do agree with you, that when we take our pets for a check up at the vets, they should be scanned; after all they could belong to anyone. Sending loads of cuddles to Libby, and kind regards to her family:-)xxx

Kentprivateeye...dont worry info going to CJ and Sherlock bones only...who deal with the police...

WOW! So pleased Libby is back where she belongs! If only ALL dogs were scanned at vaccination time or at every vet check... or even spot check scanning in the street by dog wardens... just me dreaming. Look forward to seeing mew piccies. xxx

Can't wait to see updated pictures. Just one thing - if subject to a police investigation, be careful about how much information is put out in the public about how Libby was found. As a retired Kent WPC I know how easy it is to jeopardise any potential prosecution.

laponna
Thank You all for all the good wishes i still think i am dreaming sending you all big hugssssssssss xxxxxxxxxxxxxx from libby and I
ps will try to remember how to send new pictures

UPDATE....

Spoken to Jean the owner...Libby was found in Charlton south east london. the owner had recently died and his girlfriend of the last few years...who when she met him...presumed Libby was his...yes same name...the week Libby went missing owner was called by a man who asked the dogs name...and then said Oh I had her but now she has gone...
When said persons girlfriend went to sort out his belongings...the neighbours said to her go to the vets and scan the dog as we believe she was stolen...as indeed she was...His girlfriend kindly drove down to meet owners and was terribly upset that Libby had been stolen and had no idea at all...she has kindly given us a name that sounds very familiar...a lot of dogs were stolen at that time in Kent...hopefully we can piece together what has happened to them as well....her local police also want to look into things...will put CJ and sherlock bones on the case...
Oh and what you all want to know...Libby looked confused on meeting owner...but owner said her pet name for her...and tail wagged..lots of shivering...a few accidents LOL...LOTS of excitement...on coming home she soon made her way up to mistresses bed...her companion dog that she was brought up with died 2 weeks ago...so it was a lovely surprise for Jean to get the call from the vets...to say the least.
lesleyjane
As others have said, WOW!! Is she ok?? Please tell us more! xxx to you all xxx
Jackie

This is such fantastic news. I like to read the Reunited stories as they cheer me up when I've looked at today's new 'Lost' dogs and updated myself on the progress of the searches for many others. This one's a cracker - thanks so much for updating Libby's page here. You must be over the moon xx

An amazing good news story and it happened on my doorstep. Was it a Thanet vet who found her? Whoever it was deserves some good publicity. Big hugs to Libby xxx
