Spoke to Socks owner on Facebook page and sadly this is not Socks however Pickle has been re-homed so at least we know she is well xx

Try Pets Located as they were awarded the contract for lost and found dogs via RSPCA. I am sure if she had been on there I would have thought of Socks as I check it regularly. http://www.petslocated.com/found-pets-list.php#.Uuo87rS3Alc I shall also have a look and see what I can find x update nothing on their website when I searched just now x

I just trawled the entire RSPCA female dogs and couldn't find her - maybe she's been rehomed already. I could have missed her when looking.

Hi I put this comment on "Socks" lost page - have sent Sally a text back for her to call me back -
Hi This may be a wild goose chase but we found a very small jack russell bitch on Saturday 28th December on the corner of White Horse Lane where it comes off the A414, we took her to RSPCA Southridge as she needed some care. There was no chip that they could find but they did take her in. They figured she was approx three years old, I wish I had taken a photo but I was just desperate to get her to someone who could look after her. The branch called her Pickle, she may not be your girl but she did look very much like the photo. My fingers crossed for you.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
