@Lisa - do you have a link for where you saw this picture of Turty? Either on Alfieslostdogs or at the rescue centre. Cannot find it anywhere!
lisa
Please check out dogs found on Alfieslostdogs in the found section.. 13/02/14. So like Turty, in Brentwood, the pic at the rescue centre is a better likeness. good luck Last edited: 2014-02-14 06:34:56 by lisa

Turty is a deerhound and and stag hound crossed with a labrabor staff cross. I own his mum and sister. They are going stir crazy without him.

Bumping for another possible SIGHTING of Turty yesterday in town ville and Ladybsnk area of Pontefract .
@ Kimmybear I did mention yesterday to Turtys owner that I didn't think he looked like a lurcher but he said he is despite not having typical features for a lurcher. I will speak to him again about this as I personally would describe him as a cross breed x

Might be an idea to call him a collie x for the poster so people don't dismiss him if he doesn't look like a lurcher?

Thanks Jo _yful and pipsmum X
BUMPING for the possible SIGHTING last night of Turty in jo_fuls post below.

This possible sighting was in the Bag Hill area of Pontefract town centre.
Turty's owner have reported him missing to both the local and neighbouring dog wardens and have been in contact with the local holding kennels .
His owners are postering in the area of the possible sighting and will extend with postering to other areas.
The town centre is some way from is home and his owner is unsure if he would find his way back home from there.
The fit he had shorlty before he ran if the first one he has ever had and his owners is very anxious he is found as soon as possible .
Hoping Turty is home again very soon x

Sorry Turty is missing, I live near Church Fenton, will keep my eyes open, not available until Friday but will then try and Poster. When you are postering dont forget riding stables/livery yards, the riders are the people crossing open land and can get to places cars cant. Come home safely Turty.
