they do know a whistle yes as ive always got mine and treats in my pocket! Thank you so much for putting up the posters. Little Lola is unlikely to come to anyone bar me tho as she was a terrible rescue case before I had her, bribing with food makes her more suspicious. I have made other posters too and put them around the place and everyone is rooting for their safe return, thank you again x

I have left posters on the main gates to Cwm Rhaedar Woods. Walked the woods this morning unfortunately nothing. I have also left posters on the gates to part of the Benlan forest. I have also walked these woods. No luck. Do either of the dogs respond to a whistle?? Posters put up in Porthyrhyd. Will keep looking. Fingers crossed for their safe return.
lynn
Yes it is very rural and vast. Been out again today and nothing, put posters up in the neighbouring villages and seen all the local farmers. Still nothing and absolutely no sightings, nothing from the dog warden either. Il keep looking, thanks everyone x

Lynn the one on gumtree has been removed now, the finder's have hopefully done the right thing & contacted the dog warden or they have found the owner. It maybe worth perhaps contacting the dog warden yourself in that area just to see if they know anything about it & just to be sure. It was hard to tell if it was Benson as only the face was visible in the picture but it was poodle x like. You could try scenting the area they went missing as it sounds very rural & they may of got themselves lost. Fingers crossed they will be home soon good luck x
lynn
Morning, It was an Airedale and it has been claimed, I have to say I didn't know they were sometimes black. I cant seem to find the pic on gumtree?? me and computers don't get along that well ... help!

Hi Lynn It is a longshot as Kent is a long way from Wales. The telephone number of Viking Oak Kennels is 01732-883468. The Labradoodle was on my daughters drive at 5pm looking very sorry for itself but it was wagging its tail. Her husband and a friend put a lead on it and went to ask neighbours but no one had ever seen it before. It is a small village and has lots of dog walkers but they did not recognise it. The emergency Dog Warden who came to the house said it was a Airedale. My daughter told him that a Airedale does not look like a Labradoodle which this looked like. I think he needs to brush up on his breeds. This picture definitely looks like the one she saw so it is work getting in touch with the kennels. Keeping fingers crossed but as you say it is a longshot. Good luck x
lynn
Longshot indeed but i'l phone the kennels tomorrow, many thanks x

A dog just like this picture was seen sitting on my daughter's drive. She thought it was a black Labradoodle. He did have a collar on but she cannot remember what colour it was. The only thing is that she lives in Grafty Green, near Maidstone, Kent. Her husband took it indoors and it was friendly. He did not want it to go out in the road. When she got home she telephoned the Dog Warden for Maidstone and he collected it and took it to Viking Oak Kennels. She said it was well fed but wet. It is a long shot as Kent is so far from Wales. Can the owner load or send the original picture? The previous one was adjusted just for Lola.
