Thank goodness the poor dog is safe , did she get prosecuted or did she leave him and run again , hopefully her face will be in the local papers this week to warn others ,i'm also so glad he will never be left alone again , it really makes me upset and angry when i see a cute little dog left outside a shop and i get this overwhelming urge to stop and watch that its ok , of course we go to shops but if we are going on our own then the dog stays safely at home , i still meet people who think all the terrible things happening to dogs at the moment are made up tales , sadly not ); we really need to be very vigilant and report anything suspicious , it's so nice to hear a happy ending for once though .

The thief brought Toto back to Tesco after she "heard" he was microchipped and that police had her details. Well done to all those that kept Toto too hot to handle. A valuable lesson learnt by Toto's owner who has said he will never be leaving Toto unattended again. He like many other dog owners were blissfully unaware of the risk leaving them. He will now be educating others :-)

So pleased to see that Toto has been reunited. Thank goodness this was a happy outcome. Stay safe now lovely boy xx I hope you never get left tied up again. Please let us know how Toto was recovered.

Was this dog left tied up outside the store then ? ); or snatched from someones arms ? i feel so sorry for the poor dog , but please people don't ever leave dogs outside shops , or without a collar and tag ( which is the law anyway ) my dogs wear them at home as well as outside , it's just common sense in case of an emergency etc , i hope this poor boy gets found quickly , and of course i will keep eyes and ears open , hopefully the police will show a poster of the woman locally too.
