It doesn't look like the owner has collected this dog as it is still on the web site - perhaps the owner can't come up with the funds. If it does go to a rehoming centre I'm sure it will get homed quickly

Thanks Bo for cross posting info from the dog warden site. I thought before I put up posters I would give SDK a call for more info & they said that the dogs owners had been in touch and is making arrangements to pay & collect it. So a good outcome for this sweetie.

Joe - this is a cross post from the dog warden giving the information out. They said found in Tilehurst and collected from Thatcham and the postcodes given i faithfully copied because i dont know the area and expect the wardens to be correct. I haven't got time to check all the info they put out there as it takes long enough to cut and paste the dogs onto here.

Sorry, new to doglost but RG4 is North Reading (Caversham/Emmer Green)RG31 is West Reading (Tilehurst/Sulham) and Thatcham is West Berks. Confused :)

Hi, when you go onto the SDK website its says Thatcham RG4 under the control of West Berkshire Council if that helps.

Is this the same dog as ref 63498 -young GSD found in RG31? They look similar - if it is the same one then RG4 postcode could be misleading as I think RG4 is the Caversham Area & RG31 is Tilehurst(Not Thatcham).
RG31 is close to Sulham Woods where lots of people including myself walk their dogs. I will happily put up Found Posters if the Postcode can be confirmed. Thanks for posting Bo.

Thank you for taking the time to list this found dog and ensuring the safety of the dog.
Please ensure that you notify your local Dog Warden and the local Police Station - in Scotland you MUST inform your local Police Station and if possible contact the Dog Warden also.
The found dog may have a Microchip or a Tattoo - please have the dog scanned and checked for a tattoo at a vet's so that owners may be contacted as soon as possible.
Please check on our Missing pages in case the Found dog has been registered as missing with us.
If possible please add a photo as this greatly assists our work in matching Found dogs with Missing dogs.
