- Eris you are correct it is South East, I will change it.
I have had no response to my email sent this am btw and it looked like a business email address rather than a private one. - 2014-01-21 14:01 Unknown
- I have text number above for more information.
I have alerted my husband and sons who travel over Goodwood early hours of the morning.
Hope his owner gets back to me soon as I can poster Midhurst common ect if he is still missing.
Let us pray as we are hearing nothing from Sid he may already be home. This has happened before and I have been out searching only to find the dogs were home sometimes the day before even. - 2014-01-21 13:06 Ratel
- I checked all the main carpark areas used by dog walkers first thing this morning and had a brief roam about the surrounding areas. As others have said, we need more information in order to proceed as Goodwood is vast.

- Would be good to know whereabouts as I walk my dogs there...usually around the Trundle, Racecourse, Singleton, Lavant areas, but, sometimes Petworth, Midhurst commons. Have informed some dogwalking contacts, one of them is at Singleton at the moment keeping an eye out and will be returning there again this afternoon. All paws and fingers crossed that the lovely Bud will be found very soon xxx

- It is how doglost divide areas up.
- 2014-01-21 11:52 Eris
- Not sure why this is listed under south WEST as West sussex is South EAST. Not far from Petworth . Lots of people go dog-walking from Petworth and Midhurst on the goodwood estate, so worth sending alerts to those areas too

- Once we know area I'm happy to help with the search. As previous poster says Goodwood is a massive area. I live Chichester/Lavant way but it might be on my doorstep!

- No idea at the moment who has been informed but just in case I have alerted the D/Wardens and sent Buds poster.
Can we please have a little information where exactly did he go missing from and how?
Goodwood as Linda Tanner says is a massive area so we need a starting point.
Stay safe Bud until you are found xxx - 2014-01-21 09:38 Sammie
- Outside of my area but have emailed advice including the scenting instructions.
- 2014-01-21 07:59 Linda Tanner
- Could you be more specific about exactly where he was lost as Goodwood is a massive area and it's best to start looking where he went missing. We recovered our own lost dog in a similar area by laying a scent trail - instructions available from DogLost. It should work well with a spaniel as they have great noses. If you haven't received the instructions, let me know. Linda

- Annie, this is as relevant to you as you wish it to be i.e. we all just pitch in and do whatever we can to locate the missing dog. For example, I shall make Goodwood my early morning walk as soon as it's light. The beauty of Doglost is our common aim, simply to reunite dog and owner.

- So sorry to hear about this loss of Bud.It is so stressful for you. I live in the PO18 area but nearer Compton / East Marden (6 - 8 plus miles away )and I wonder if he would have travelled this far ? I am new to Dog Lost and would appreciate advice from an expert as to whether this is relevant to me... Annie
