Morning everyone, Merlin's owner here. We had a call at 1.30 this morning from Margate police station, by 2 0.Clock, Merlin was at home looking very sheepish, with a full stomach of shepards pie courtesy of Margate police.
We had a very happy nine year old this morning at 6.30, discovering his best friend was back.
Thank you all for your concern and good will and that it will never happen again for all our nerves.

Just spoken to Paula, Merlin's owner and advised her that Merlin had been found according to the Missing Dogs and Strays Thanet FB Page. She will contact the Dog Warden/Police in the morning and make arrangements to collect Merlin

According to Missing Dogs and Strays in Thanet FB page this dog was found earlier although some confusion as to who this was and the finder was going to contact the police or RSPCA
