Just to let you all know who are following this girl, The owner was going back to the area today & tomorrow with a big banner, hoping to jog the memory of anyone in the area who may have seen something.
The water people & environment agency are assisting the owners & other people who are helping in the search. They have monitors at the weir, and are checking cameras etc in case she went into the water. So far nothing. The water people & EZ have been amazing in their help & they have not given up yet.
Ads have been issued in the local papers & on radio. They really are doing an awful lot to find her.
There is a Bearded collie contingent who are doing all they can too.

Although not good news that she might of been taken, if it is Eilidh it means she is still alive and there is a hope she will be found xxxx

leaving an article of the owners clothing( which has been worn for at least 24hrs ) near to the area of the last known sighting has been known to work, leave water as well, but not food as other animals may scare the dog away. This has been known to work and the dog stays put on the clothing recognising's its owners scent.

Have been alerted to comment pixies peeps has posted.

I've cropped her photo to bring her closer and added to The Extra Image box. Also UPDATED her poster photo and page to show up on her poster (you may need to refresh the page to view it).

Good luck everyone with the search.

Beardies in need has had this update. . The owner followed up the idea of crossing the river. She saw the farmer who had seen something and he said it wasn't a dog he saw run past as too large. However over that side the owner meet lady who had seen her walk dogs and told her she had seen a man in a black coat with a beardie she though was hers being dragged and looking really muddy and wet. Then tonight the owner has had a call from a another lady who saw the same man in black coat dragging dog towards car park where went missing. Beardies in need told owner to ring police. Do papers. Poster bigger area. So the more posters the better now. Someone must know where he is if suddenly got a dog !. Can this page please be bumped so this information is seen. THE SIGHTINGS WERE ON SUNDAY AFTER DOG WENT MISSING WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN 12TH JANUARY.Last edited: 2014-01-20 22:25:09 by pixies peeps

This poor darling need urgent helpers out searching on foot plus 100s posters out there. Is there anyone who could kindly help please ? We have night vision goggles. We also have traps and nets etc but a 15yr deaf and blind beardie wouldn't need those. Poor girl was off lead and almost dark when lost. No chip but have a disc on. The river really do concern us. I've rang many places today but nothing. So anyone that could search we would be so gratful. Last edited: 2014-01-14 23:05:07 by beardies in need

Sorry to see that EILIDH BLIND AND DEAF is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (62989)

  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
