Welcome home Lacey.

What fantastic news! Just had a text fm very excited owners to say that Lacey had bn spotted this morning by 2 girls. She is safe and a family member is on the way to collect her. I had advised Tracy earlier on to poster everywhere so maybe that was how the girls knew who Lacey belonged to or perhaps 'cos of the info given to one of the dog walkers Mrs G spoke to (many thanks for yr help). Either way, Lacey will be home very soon and hopefully she will be none the worse for her ordeal.
*** An extra special thank you to the 2 girls who found her and enabled her reunion with her mum ***
Well done Tracy ..as you searched that lane a lot I suspect Lacey will hv smelt yr scent and stayed in the area because of it..what a clever little dog! I love a happy ending! (I'm sure Tracy will update later, hopefully with a reunited photo!!)Last edited: 2014-01-13 09:09:53 by Clarkey - Area Co-ordinator, East Sussex

Fantastic news! I was so happy when I got the text this morning as I had been so worried about this little one. Her owners are overjoyed and Lacey will be getting loads of cuddles! Well done to all involved and the two girls that spotted her xxx

Tracey Potter - I have messages you on Facebook with an e mail address for Jenny Brown and dog lost can also put you in touch with her.

If she is very timid like you say Tracy, she could have just gone to ground. My dog has done that before, he came home 8 hrs later but hadn't responded to my calls at all even though he could probably hear me. Have you left something with your scent in the area?

Searched all day again and all night. No sightings or barking ... Nothing at all. This little lady has simply vanished please please please keep looking and sharing this poster
Mrs G
Been back up to the fields, walked for about an hour. Sorry no sightings but told 3 other dog walkers and asked them to be aware and share info. Will keep looking x
Mrs G
Walked around the fields leading to West Beach (AKA Hasler) Estate will look again later. Any plan to do co-ordinated search? Willing to join in as so close. Will pass on info to other dog walkers/owners I see heading to fields and ask them to keep an eye open. Poster shared on Facebook.
