Thanks to everyone for their good wishes. Eddy was VERY tired and hungry and slept for hours after his tea. I hope there'll be no more adventures for this chap!!

My daughters best friend had a facebook message from someone to say that Eddy was in their cul de sac and that they would try to keep him there until we came. Five minutes later we were there and the couple had managed to coax him near so they could put a lead on him and give him some treats. He was overjoyed to see us when we arrived, and I can't tell you how glad we were to find him. Thanks to everyone for their fantastic support and to this wonderful website and volunteers. You do forget how many lovely people there are about until something happens and everyone wants to help. Best wishes to everyone and a Happy doggy new year. Barbara

In text contact with owner. Good seems hes going away from the river which is high at the moment. Loads of poster needed, more posters, more calls will come in. Spoke to dog warden whos aware. Pen Mill station and Pen Mill hotel good to poster as is Mole valley on other side of road. Poster parks too especially Milford.

Barbara that is great news that he has been spotted and that he has not even gone far. Carry some nice smelling treats in your pocket for him.

Eddy was spotted by a dog walker this morning at bout 11 o'clock crossing the car park at Lyde Road side of river walk. She thinks that he ran into St Johns Road. Not seen since after scouring the area.

Lynnie: Are you in Yeovil? Suggest you phone Barbara as she is out postering this morning and see if you can help search & poster. That woud be great, I am a bit far to physically help search - but great if you could assist. Everyone needs to bare in mind that he is a nervous dog though, so always check with owner & report any sightings here.

Probably already done so, but don't forget to get a presence in Mole Valley which is not far from where he went missing and there will be farming and horse people visiting there and they are great if he has gone into the countryside.
Lynnie
Hi have shared on FB. Will print posters off and put up tomorrow. Let me know if you are out and want/need help. Poor Eddy. Lynn
