- I will see if I can contact finder and get a photo on here , and suggest the dog must be reported as found

- Has someone advised finder that she must report the dog as found in the area it was found? No point in reporting it local to her as the owner will have no idea where the dog is!

- I think the finders picked her up and travelled with her... This is what's been placed on preloved
"Has anyone in the Eardisland area of Hay-on-wye/herefordshire lost a whippet on the main road towards Leominster? He looks like a young dog, is grey with a white bib and socks. When we picked him up he had no collar and was very thin and subdued. We did not know what to do for the best so we took him in but we are obviously concerned that somebody may be missing their pet? We are all the way in Essex, so 5 hours away. We have done our best to report the dog missing to the RSPCA and local dog wardens but to no avail, they can't help us. We would like the dog reunited with his owner but would like to reassure you that he is being well cared for and he's eating some boiled rice as this is what came up this morning, making me think that he is perhaps on a special diet? Please get in touch if he's yours. No time wasters please, he stays with us until his true owner comes forward" - 2013-12-16 12:38 The girls!
- I seem to recall a missing dog listed on here not so long ago with the missing fur on head but can't remember breed - will trawl back
