Thank you all so much for your help - wonderful thing Dogslost. I will definitely be making a donation in the New Year, when feeling a bit richer. Codie seems none the worst for her 6 days away, amazingly! She doesn't even seem to have lost any weight! She scratched on the door of a farmer about 5 miles away & when he let her in, she jumped straight on the sofa & made herself at home as only Codie would! Kids are all thrilled - it will be a much happier Christmas!! Thanks again everyone!

Omg Maria I can't believe your news codie has been found this is the best news and has made my week. I hope she's OK, having had dobes myself for 30 years I was as concerned as you. Oh to see her in the blue is wonderful. Welcome home codie n I hope you all have a very happy xmas. Xxx

Doesn't sound like the one in Northants is her sadly, although details are a bit vague as there is possibly 2 dogs.

Thank you everyone - I have contacted animal wardens who are going to check the Dobermann they have, which they say is not Microchipped. Does anyone know when the one in Northants was first seen as Codie only went missing around Newmarket on Thursday night?

Doberman dumped in Bozeat (Northants) last week - no one can get near him / her to find any other information. Dog warden aware.

Just spoken to the owner. Codie and the family terrier went off hunting last night in an area they know very well. The Terrier returned home later but Codie hasn't been seen since. She is 11 years old and may have collapsed but the owners have been out searching and so far no luck. All authorities have been notified. Email sent with all local information. Photo to follow.
